Professor Dr. Israr Ahmad Khan is currently working at tafsir department in the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU), Turkey. Prior to joining ASBU, he served Sultan Mehmet Fatih University, Istanbul, Turkey for two semesters (October 2017-August 2018). He was retired from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) after serving it as professor for 26 years (1991-2017). To his credit he has a large number of published articles in international refereed journals, and several published titles, besides more than 70 conference papers. The most well-known published titles are, among others: (1) Theory of Abrogation in the Qur’an: A Critical Evaluation;
