Dr. Noor Hayat Khan is the Head Department of Islamic Studies at National University of Modern Language, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has been serving as an Associate Professor and mentor at the graduate and undergraduate level since Oct 2006. . Being Head, he has been administering the MPhil & PhD Islamic Studies programs since May 2020. Dr. Noor Hayat Khan is also Founding Director of the Jamia Noor Al-Huda for Hifzul Quran and Islamic Education (JNIE) Islamabad, Pakistan. He has done his PhD Islamic Studies in March 2013 from the National University of Modern Language Islamabad, Pakistan. His PhD dissertation is entitled “Religious Harmony in Contemporary Era (In The Light of Divine and Contemporary teaching”. Dr. Noor Hayat Khan is also holding MPhil degree in Quran & Hadith science (from IIUI-2003). He is also holds Masters in Education (Med-from AIOUI-1999). He has presented more than 25 research papers in national and international conferences and published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals. His research contribution emphasizes the contemporary issues and ultimately has positive impacts on the community’s individual, family, and social life. Previously, he has served as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor (part-time) at IMCB, Islamabad and two other esteemed universities in Pakistan i.e., International Islamic University Islamabad, and Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. Moreover Dr. Noor Hayat Khan is providing academic services to several universities as external thesis evaluator, examiner, and member Faculty Board of studies and peer-review research Journals.
