Professor Dr. Nabil Al-Fouly

Professor Dr. Nabil Al-Fouly is currently working at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Fatih Sultan Mehmet University, Istanbul, Turkey. He is Egyption by birth. He has done his doctorate in Islamic Philosophy on the topic of “The Ten Sayings in Islamic Philosophical Thought up to the Sixth Hijri Century” in 2004. He obtained his MA in Islamic Philosophy on the topic of “The Logic of Means Among Muslims” in 1998. He served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Aqidah and Philosophy, Faculty of Islamic Studies (Usuluddin), International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan from October 2004. He was an editor-in-chief of Al-Resala Magazine, an Egyptian quarterly magazine issued by the Arab Media Center, from 2001 to 2004. He has written a book entitled, Interpretation of the meanings of Aristotle’s words in Kitab al-Muqawalat, abbreviation of Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Wahbi (Investigation and Study) which was published by Arab Media Center, Cairo, in 2008. He also written a book titled, ‘The ethics of the Prophet (May God bless him and grant him peace) during War and Conquest (A study in light of understanding morals). He presented papers in national and international conferences and published several papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. He also participated in many seminars and conducted workshops on different topics relating to Aqeedah and Philosophy.
